Heart Chambers – Ambient Sol

Release Date: June 27, 2025

HEART CHAMBERS is an introspective dive into the complexities of the heart and pathways of the soul, inspired by Roy’s emotional journey through grief and healing. After the passing of his father—who taught him to play music—Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas explores specific childhood memories, weaving them into a soundscape of reflection and catharsis. The album features lush textures, acro-double bass, and soothing, meditative sounds of Handpan drummer Justin Whitaker (who is featured on four tracks).

The single “Cleared Path” is an exploration of freedom to be oneself in dark times, with hypnotic, feathered piano cadences and serene strings that evoke a sense of release. Another featured track “Atrium” is about the recentering of one’s heart, and its soothing layers providing a meditative space for emotional recalibration. Both tracks invite listeners on a journey of personal reflection and renewal.
